Description:
Proxacin-10 solution is a 2nd. Generation fluroquinolone derivative broad sprectrum bacterials antibiotic. Proxacin-10 solution inhibits DNA gyrase (a special type II topoisomerase enzyme) which causes negative super coiling of bacterial DNA, thus bacterial cell lysis occurs. Proxacin-10 may also inhibits bacterial growth by inhibiting cell-wall synthesis. Maximum plasma level concentration of Proxacin-10 solution can reach after 1-2 hour of oral administration. Proxacin-10 has post antibiotic effect against some bacteria so that current attack of bacteria may abolished.
Indications:
Proxacin-10 solution may be used against almost all type of bacterial and Microplasmal diseases, e.g. Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, CRD (mycoplasmosis), Infectious coryza, Pasteurellosis, Streptococcosis, Staphylococcosis etc. Moreover Proxacin-10 solution may act against other diseases caused by bacteria; e.g. Klebsiella, Shigella, Yersinia, Aromonas, Proteus, Pseudomonas, Neissria, Campylobactor etc. Proxacin-10 solution may also used in case of viral diseases followed by secondary bacterial infections.
Contra-Indications:
Proxacin-10 should be used with Chlramphenicol, macrolide or tetracycline.
Dosage and Administration:
For Prevention
1 ml solution to be mixed with 4-8 liter drinking water for 3 consecutive days.
For Treatment
1 ml solution to be mixed with 1-2 liter of drinking water for 5 consecutive days. Or to be dispensed only by or on the prescription of a registered veterinarian.
Side Effects:
Absorption of magnesium & aluminium from intestine may disrupted.
Withdrawal Times:
For Meat 7 days
